Wahoo App Reviews

Impressed!

As a long time garmin connect -> strava user, Im impressed with the functionality of this app. Especially useful is the run review feature. I dont like the audio announcements which I need to turn off each time.

Best training app by far

The level of customization offered by this app is unparalleled by any other. Plus it can talk to any of your devices no matter the brand. I currently have it synced with a Jarv Bluetooth CSC sensor, a Polar H7 and a Casio STB-1000 and the app reads them all perfectly at all times. Connection is constant and the app is really easy to use, very intuitive. You can set up as many pages as you want to be displayed on either on the iPhone screen or relayed to the watch, no other app offers that. Ive tried mapmyride, Strava, Polar Beats (horrible) and several others, this is hands down the best one out there. The only shortcoming (hence the 4 stars) is that unlike Strava or mapmyride, all the information is stored within the phone, not an online database, so eventually it will eat up a lot of space. Bulk exporting and deleting is not possible; I always export my workouts to strava and mapmyride but recently Im revisiting all of them to have a pdf exported to Dropbox and it will take forever, each export involved four steps : opening the workout, go to share options, select Dropbox and then choose a format, so all in all is a time consuming operation. Add bulk exporting and deleting or a companion website and this app will be number one.

Works great. Simple to use.

Just what I wanted. Its quick and easy to use. No trouble connecting to heart rate sensor. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing! Must have!!

Why drive in the dark? Must have!

Much better than MMF or Strava

It calculates my data consistently. Consistently I tell you! And its free! CONSISTENT and FREE! I dont ride with a ton of sensors, yet MMRide was never consistently connecting (even as an MVP) and Strava charges $79 for real-time data. CONSISTENT AND FREE!!! WAHOO!!! Cherry on top: I can upload my data to both sites/apps immediately and get what I want out of them socially (membership cancelled!!!) Note: road bike with wahoo speed/cad and UA HR monitor on iPhone 5S Bluetooth with RT data display running as my cycle computer (with customizable screens - that show RT data... consistently!).

Best yet

This is the best HRM yet so far in the past 10 yrs. What have I used? :Nashbar xs2, Garmin xs2,(worst most expensive), polar, (borrowed, broke cost me money to fix), Ironman xs2. Suunto, (expensive, took it back to REI). Wahoo works well with iphone except when I got my new SE had difficulty pairing and had to reset everything losing past data. otherwise excellent!

Finally works much better

Finally. Seems to work way better than ever. Thanks

Smart training

Love the data. Simple to use and powerful integration with Tickr X

Lacks details

It wont display a chart while its monitoring my heart rate. Or let me zoom in on the chart. Seems to be missing data; chart shows very smooth areas and area showing lots of small variation as well as areas with significant variations. Inexplicable.
